丝网除沫器用于分离气体中夹带的液滴,以保证传质效率,降低有价值物料的损失、防止堵塞出口管道、避免危害后续工序和改善设备后的压缩机的操作.上升的液滴靠惯性与丝网碰撞,被丝网拦截;再靠自身的重力下降,并在丝网细丝表面扩散,后在丝网接点处聚集成更大的液滴,回落到设备内。气体通过丝网除沫器后,基本上不含雾沫。
